Tea is the new “IT”

The years of expensive Frappucinos are so over. Thanks to the Tea Shops who keep on popping out of nowhere like Mushrooms. And definitely, the University of Santo Tomas is just one of its targets on this “Tea” craze. The moment I entered the University, I was a complete stranger about this “Tea” trend. And then I started to notice, group of students sipping cups of Milk Tea all over the campus.

And to tell you I was never a fan of teas aside from Iced Tea that time. A friend of mine asked me to try this shop at GM Tolentino which is Moon Leaf Tea Shop. I was surprised with the number of people inside so that made me wonder why are these people are so hooked up. Now I know why, from their remarkable teas which varies depending on your lifestyle, be it black, milk, or whatever tea to the cozy and cool ambiance of their shop where every one can just chill during vacant hours

I’m sure everyone’s going to enjoy their stay there. The moment I had first drink, I was hooked too. I am definitely joining the bandwagon and I don’t care. The fact that you can have one from as low as PHP 45.00 makes no excuse that you can’t experience the marvel of these drinks they offer.And these drinks are good for the body and do have a lot of benefits (Google it) so it’s definitely worth-it.

And did I mention this corner? well, cheesy, but everybody loves it (I think).It’s cute, though.

Last week they just opened a new branch in V.Concepcion St. near UST-Dapitan area which is more accessible for the Thomasians (well except for those residing in Beato Angelico building)

Wintermelon Milk Tea is definitely my favorite!
